The small town of Harlowton Montana, population about 1,000, sits beneath a bright blue sky framed by big snowy mountains. It was founded in 1900, as a station stop on the Montana railroad, and was named for Richard A Harlow, the company’s president. The state’s biggest city, Billings, is about 90 minutes away.
