The Do it Best Foundation is proud to announce the distribution of more than $144,000 in grants to 21 organizations dedicated to creating brighter futures for kids and families in the communities where Do it Best team members live and work.

These grants complement the major Foundation giving through the Cookin’ Fort Wayne event, which culminated in a $100,000 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Indiana in June.

“Partnering with organizations like these is one of the most rewarding things we do,” said Executive Director Curtis Smith. “These grants create a positive, lasting impact across essential causes like youth services, addiction recovery, food security, healthcare, education, and the arts. They truly serve the needs of others and make a tremendous difference in the communities we call home.”

Grant recipients this quarter include:

● Pegasus Special Riders (Oregon, Illinois) – $3,000

● Sauk Valley Foodbank (Sterling, Illinois) – $5,000

● Shining Star Children’s Advocacy Center (Dixon, Illinois) – $5,000

● Christ Child Society of Fort Wayne (Fort Wayne, Indiana) – $5,000

● The Honeywell Foundation (Wabash, Indiana) – $5,000

● Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center (Lexington, South Carolina) – $5,000

● St. Matthias Episcopal Church (Athens, Texas) – $5,000

● YWCA Northeast Indiana (Fort Wayne, Indiana) – $6,300

● Helping Hands Family Resource Center (Bluffton, Indiana) – $6,658

● Euell A. Wilson Center (Fort Wayne, Indiana) – $7,500

● Mustard Seed Furniture Bank of Fort Wayne (Fort Wayne, Indiana) – $7,500

● Waco Civic Theatre (Waco, Texas) – $8,020
