Hitek Truss, a leading manufacturer of high-quality roof and floor trusses serving builders throughout Florida, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald Guzman as General Manager.

Guzman brings a unique blend of engineering expertise, operational leadership, and project management experience to Hitek. He studied Industrial Engineering and Industrial Technology and holds certifications in Six Sigma, Agile and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Guzman began his career with Bancolombia, one of Colombia’s largest multinational banks, where he served in Process Engineer and Project Implementation Lead roles. Most recently, Guzman served with American Builders Supply, a Kodiak Building Partners company, where he led the successful launch of a new truss manufacturing facility in the Tampa area and served as its General Manager.

Guzman joins Hitek as the company continues to expand its capabilities and prepare for the opening of a second location in Palmetto. His experience launching and scaling truss manufacturing operations positions him well to help lead Hitek through this next chapter of growth while maintaining the company’s commitment to quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

“This is the second opportunity in my career to help start a truss plant from zero, which is something very special to me,” he added. “After helping launch a new plant in the Tampa area a few years ago, I am excited to do it again with the Hitek team as we prepare for the new Palmetto location. I look forward to contributing my experience, supporting the team, and helping build a strong operation for this next stage of growth.”

As General Manager, Guzman will oversee daily operations, support continued team development, and help drive strategic initiatives that strengthen Hitek’s ability to serve customers throughout Florida.
