Do it Best has named Allison Meyer as its newest Director of Communications, effective immediately.
In this role, Meyer leads a team focused on communicating the Do it Best story, which includes highlighting the programs, services, and solutions that help independent home improvement retailers drive greater sales and profitability through their co-op partnership. She also manages the company’s strategies for effective internal and external communications, media relations, doitbestonline.com, social media, and digital and print publications, including the company’s annual report.
Meyer most recently served as the company’s communication manager and has been in the Do it Best communications department since 2018. Previously, she worked at an advertising agency on vendor accounts associated with Do it Best products, including branded paint lines. “In her nearly five years with the company, Allison has played a key role in developing and delivering outstanding communication plans for a number of initiatives and projects large and small,” said Vice President of Marketing Rich Lynch. “Allison has brought even greater discipline to our communications approach and will serve us well as we move forward with our bold growth plans.”
