This Independence Day, Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, and the Tractor Supply Company Foundation are honored to celebrate those who serve our country and our communities. As part of its ongoing Hometown Heroes Spotlight Series, Tractor Supply will recognize five Team Members who exemplify courage, dedication, and community service. To further show appreciation, all veterans, service members, and first responders are invited to enjoy a special July 4th discount of 10% off in stores nationwide.
“As a veteran, the son of a police officer and the father of an active-duty service member, our Hometown Heroes initiative is deeply personal to me,” said Colin Yankee, executive vice president and chief supply chain officer at Tractor Supply and former U.S. Army Captain. “Our goal is to recognize the brave individuals who serve—both in our communities and across the country. Donating $1 million to support them is just one way we give back, but the most meaningful moments often happen in our stores, when we thank these heroes face to face. We’re also proud to honor the veterans and first responders who are part of our Tractor Supply team—it’s a privilege to serve alongside them every day.”

For each honoree, Tractor Supply will donate $5,000 to one of 10 Hometown Hero charities identified as part of the 2025 Hometown Heroes initiative announced earlier this month.
The five Team Members who embody the spirit of being a Hometown Hero are:
- Lawrence Brooks V – Distribution Center Team Member in Frankfort, New York; U.S. Air Force veteran; donating to K9s For Warriors
- Jonas Harrell – Store Manager in Sealy, Texas; U.S. Army veteran; donating to Team Rubicon
- Nick Lyon – Petsense by Tractor Supply Store Manager in Safford, Arizona; U.S. Army veteran; donating to K9s For Warriors
- Ashley Proper – Team Member in Titusville, Pennsylvania; U.S. Air Force veteran; donating to Team Rubicon

In 2024, the Company and its foundation launched the Hometown Heroes initiative with a $1 million donation to 10 national organizations that support the selfless men and women who serve. Tractor Supply announced another $1 million donation on June 18, 2025, and will identify additional Hometown Heroes Spotlight honorees in the fall.
