That philosophy continues with the promotion of Dan Plate to Director of Operations, reflecting both his steady leadership and the path he has built over more than five years with the company.

Dan has seen Bliffert grow and evolve firsthand and remains equally focused on what comes next as on what has already been achieved. “Stepping into this role provides a great opportunity to help grow Bliffert Lumber,” he shared. “The growth over the past 5+ years has been tremendous, and I’m excited to see what the next 10–15 years have in store.” In his new role, Dan is focused on the efficiencies and standardization across all locations.

As he steps into this role, he aims to continue mentoring others, building confidence, and creating a positive impact through everyday interactions. “I hope to align my actions with personal values by mentoring others,” he shared. “The best way to achieve this is through personal connections and family involvement, boosting confidence and being a positive influence.”

Outside of work, Dan enjoys golfing and tackling projects around the house, activities that keep him active and grounded.
